Worm gearboxes
Worm gearboxes
Worm gearboxes that will never let you down. For decades. Under the toughest conditions.
We have a complete range of (low-backlash) worm gearboxes, which are used worldwide for the most demanding applications. Our worm gearboxes meet the highest quality standards – according to our quality commitment "Swiss Excellence – Since 1936".
Our low-backlash DYNABOX® worm gearboxes are the proven solution for high-precision and dynamic applications such as robot arms, Cartesian robots, gantries, printing machines, as well as for use in medical technology and healthcare, CNC rotary tables, and many other industrial applications.
They are used when high precision (up to <=0,5 arcmin), high performance, and very high efficiency are required, while space is limited. They are available as a modular system.
We also offer conventional worm gearboxes (with up to <=15 arcmin), which are used in filling systems, construction machinery, textile machinery, machine tools, assembly technology, and the chemical industry. These are also available as ATEX versions, worm gear motors, and helical worm gearboxes (see explanations below).

Our worm gearboxes are also available as helical worm gearboxes. These combine the advantages of two proven gear technologies: Helical gearboxes (e.g., spur gearboxes) and worm gearboxes. A spur-worm gear combines the direct power transmission of a spur gear with the high transmission ratio and potential self-locking properties of a worm gear. This combination is ideal for applications that require precise movements, high load transmission, and a compact design.
